Guimerá Theater

If you are a fan of the dramatic arts, the Guimerá Theater in the island’s capital, Santa Cruz, should be your destination. The Canary Islands’ oldest theater, Guimerá was built in the 19th Century. It has a classical-romance style which was designed by architect, Manuel de Oráa. Standing for over 150 years, the theater has provided a place for performance for musical companies, ballets, orchestras, and actors and actresses.
