Parks to visit in Tenerife

There are plenty of parks in Tenerife. You can spend the day in any parks that will suit your taste.

Siam Park – Located in Costa Adeje on the south of Tenerife.  Siam Park is based on the ancient Asian empire of Thailand, and from the moment you set foot in the park you will be stepping into a different world. It is the water kingdom of Tenerife. The park is really amazing and it is definitely worth a visit. You can relax on a white sandy beach, drift along crystal waters past thundering waterfalls or head straight to the nearest jaw-dropping, free-fall thrill ride.

Pueblo Chico – It is located in La Orotava, in the north of the island. It is a miniature village copying the most amazing places and architecture in Tenerife on a scale of 1:25 getting together in a single place of History, Culture, Art, Technology, Nature and Leisure.

Teide National Park – The Teide National Park is located at the center of Tenerife. The main attraction is undoubtedly el Teide, Spain’s largest volcano. It is one of the island’s most recognized parks that attract more than four million visitors each year. The park features around 20 walking trails and tracks, and currently 14 plants which are not found in any other place on the earth. It is another wonderful sight during the winter when snows cover the volcanoes from the top to the downside of the mountains.

La Granja Park – Located in La Granja, Tenerife. La Granja Park is the second major park in Santa Cruz, Tenerife. La Granja Park is a wonderful park made in tropical and exotic plants that covers 6 hectares. La Granja Park also features a notable sculpture, which has been devoted to famous naturalist and media celebrity Felix Rodriguez de la Fuente.

García Sanabria Park – This enormous botanical and exotic park of Santa Cruz de Tenerife is located between the coves of Méndez Núnez and Numancia. The park is probably the most creative and wonderful in the islands; every inch of it was designed to entertain its visitors. The park contains many important and remarkable collections of plants, including botanical specimens, mature trees, a monument to famous local Garcia Sanabria, the park’s namesake, a seasonal floral clock, walking paths and sitting areas.

Parque Del Drago – Parque Del Drago is a beautiful park located in the Icod de los Vinos area of Tenerife. This beautiful park is popular for being home to an awesome and ancient umbrella shaped Dragon Tree which is considered to be more than 1000 years old, making it one of the oldest trees in the world.
