Banking
Banks in Tenerife open from Mondays through Fridays, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Some banks are open until Saturday until 1:00 pm. Outside these times, tourists can still exchange their money at their Tenerife hotels or Tenerife apartments. Some may even head to Cambio de Change but the rate may not be as good as the banks. For tourists exchanging traveler’s cheques, passport is a requirement.
